WHAT ARE WE LEARNING?
In the Infants-Twos classes, children are cared for in a warm and loving environment by volunteers who love children and desire to see them growing in their love and understanding of Jesus. In this area, our curriculum focuses on three goals. It is our hope that when children leave this youngest area they know that:
*The Bible is God’s word
and it is true!
*God loves you!
*Prayer is talking to God
TODDLERS:
We are excited to offer a lesson in the toddler room each week. Each lesson incorporates all the senses to reinforce the learning of Bible stories. A monthly story is repeated in a new way each week to reinforce comprehension of the Bible story.
TWOS:
Throughout the morning, children experience the weekly Bible story through games, a craft, and large group story and worship time. Children walk through the Bible starting in the Old Testament in fall and working through the New Testament in the winter and spring.
PRESCHOOL:
Preschool comprises three and four-year-olds and Pre-K's. Our curriculum, activities and equipment are designed to meet the unique needs of these age levels. Your child will spend the hour learning about God's love through Bible stories, puppet shows, hands-on learning centers and friendship with others.
In the preschool classes, we use many different teaching styles to help all kids learn about God. Through our curriculum and activities, we focus on 4 goals. It is our desire that when children leave the preschool area, they know that:
*The Bible is God’s word and
it is true.
*God loves you no matter what.
*Prayer is talking to God. We can
talk to God all the time!
*I do wrong things, so I need Jesus.
