Be a HERO to your child
Sunset Kids affords you as a parent a unique opportunity to observe your child in a group situation as well as partner with them in learning the basic truths of the Bible. Children instinctively know that learning God’s ways is important when they see you, the parents, take the time to serve in their classroom. We don’t require any special skills, just a willingness to share God’s love with kids.

Check out the available positions and time to serve God in this way – you’ll find it becoming the most fun hour of your week

Each volunteer must go through a Screening process and agree to abide by Sunset’s policies and procedures in order to volunteer in
Children’s Ministries. This is for the safety and protection of childrenand adults.
Here are the steps:
1. Have a personal relationship with Christ.
2. Be a member or regular attendee for 6 months or more.
3. Fill out a Volunteer application.
4. Have an informal interview.
5. Attend a security training and volunteer orientation.
6. Consent for a background check.

StartSTAR -
For the childrens of volunteers, STAR provides a place for your childrens to fellowship, grab a snack and have some time to just be a kid. This allows parents who volunteer to attend the other worship gathering. STAR runs every Sunday during the school year when Kidtropolis takes place. Sign your child up for STAR when you sign in on Sunday Morning. The children will be in the Student Center between services and returned to the room you dropped them off at at the end of the service for you to pick them up.
