Sunset’s Food & Toy Ministry has been sharing Christ’s love and provision by serving under-resourced families in our community for over 20 years. Each Christmas season, our congregation delivers food for a holiday meal and general pantry staples, as well as toys and gifts, to several hundred households throughout Washington County and beyond. Families served are referred to us primarily through our ESL and Helping Hands ministries, as well as local school counselors. We have also been privileged to partner in the past ministries such as Angel Tree, Bridges of Compassion and Innercity Sports Ministries.

Food & Toy 2009 will take place the week of December 14, culminating with Delivery Day on Saturday, December 19. Throughout the week, cookies will be baked, toys will be wrapped, and food will be packed. Please mark your calendars and consider how you and your family and friends can make this part of your Christmas tradition and celebration.
