The Food & Toy Ministry relies entirely on designated financial gifts. Total expenses are approximately $45,000, the bulk of which goes for food. To contribute financially to Food & Toy, please make checks payable to Sunset Presbyterian Church and note “F&T” on the memo line. You can also donate directly on-line. All gifts are tax deductible. If you use the giving envelopes in the sanctuary seat backs during the month of November, be sure to mark “F&T” on the outside. Your Advent Conspiracy offering will also go toward the Food & Toy Ministry.
We also rely on toy donations. Toy collection boxes can be found in the Ministry Lobby, Narthex, Children’s Lobby and the church office. Toys/gifts for teens and infants are especially needed. Gift cards to Target are also welcome and may be dropped off or mailed to the church office, attention Food & Toy. These will be used by the F&T team to purchase needed gifts.
Due to the quantities needed to serve 500 families, we do not collect food for the food boxes. Instead, we work with a local grocer who delivers everything right to our door.
